Meet The Owner
Stephanie D. Van Buren,
Stephanie VanBuren
Stephanie D. Van Buren is the proud owner and guiding force behind Tiny Skholars Akademy. With over 20 years of experience in childcare, early childhood education, and special needs inclusion, Stephanie has dedicated her career to nurturing and developing children of all ages. She brings both expertise and compassion to her leadership, ensuring families feel supported and children thrive in a safe, loving environment.
Stephanie holds an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Administrative I and II Certifications from the State of North Carolina, and a Special Needs Certification. She has also earned her Doctorate in Christian Leadership and Business, equipping her with the vision and leadership skills to grow her Akademy into a nurturing and inclusive space for children and families.
With a history of running Rising Star Child Development Center and now leading Tiny Skholars Akademy, Stephanie continues to build an educational community centered on excellence, inclusion, and care. Her mission is to ensure every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.
